The Heinrich-Böll-Haus in Langenbroich

The association Heinrich-Böll-Haus Langenbroich e.V. was founded in 1989. Since then, 121 writers, artists, and composers from 29 countries have been invited to the former residential building of the Böll Family in the Eifel Region.
The excellent cooperation between the Heinrich-Böll foundation, the City of Düren, and the state of North Rhine-Westphalia has allowed the guests, many of whom were coming out of pressured situations, to work undisturbed and creative for a while. This made them financially secured and free of state control and pursuit. The cooperation in a Europe-wide incurred network of institutions, which offers help to politically persecuted authors, could successfully be continued into the future.

You can contribute to giving the writers and artists a place of silence and concentration by becoming a sponsor!
